Chef Pep and the Soup of Doom

Last updated: 20 September 2026

Chef Pep and the Soup of Doom is a single-player game made for kids. It is designed to collect nothing at all.

What the app collects

Nothing. The game does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information.

Specifically, the app:

Your score and progress live only in the device's memory while the game is open, and are gone when you close it. Nothing leaves the device, because the game never sends anything anywhere.

Children's privacy

The game is intended for children and families. Because it collects no data whatsoever, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or any other age. It is built to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Google Play Families policy, and Apple's App Store guidelines for kids' apps.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. It is built with React Native and Expo, which are open-source frameworks compiled into the app; they do not collect data from players in this app's configuration.

The app stores (Apple and Google) may collect their own data about downloads under their own privacy policies. That is outside this app's control and is not shared with us.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes to collect anything, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
